Trio, Cambridge Suites
Trio Restaurant, Cambridge Suites, 380 Esplanade, Sydney The last outing of 2016 took us to Trio on the Esplanade; there were eight of us who celebrated the end of a wonderful year of dining out. Trio is the exception to the rule! It is a restaurant in a hotel that doesn't serve hotel food; it has been closed - it has been renovated and each time, it's more comfortable; the chef changes and the food retains their high standards and even with reduced hours, people will still line up for a seat. There are no pictures with this posting, dear readers, as Yours Truly enjoyed a glass of wine with friends. Members of the group enjoyed cocktails, a wide variety of flavourful dishes including pasta, lamb, fish and chicken - we ended our evening with selections from a lovely dessert menu. And all of this while sitting in a dining room decorated beautifully for Christmas and while listening to a variety of Christmas music and light pop music that brought back fun memories. Of co...
