Wong's Family Restaurant

Wong's on the main street in Baddeck Looking outside to the street and across to the Telegraph House This month, two carloads of UAG members travelled up the road to the lovely town of Baddeck, about a 40-minute drive from Sydney. It was a beautiful evening - perfect for crossing the Seal Island Bridge and heading up and over the mountain. And what fun! We laughed all the way to Baddeck. Our first impression was one of surprise - Wong's is quite large inside with two dining areas. Our waitress was great; she was very professional and handled all of our requests, including turning a Black Russian into a White Russian. Yes, we all had cocktails! You are looking at L to R: a Deep Blue Sea Cocktail, a Bermuda Rose, a Pinot Grigio, a White Russian, a Caesar, and a Planter's Punch. They were wonderful (just a bit strong) and as a result, we didn't mind at all that our food took some time to travel from the kitchen. We ordered two appetizers fro
